4th of July day of the Venezuelan Architec

Why this celebration is on this day?

   The 4th of July of 1945, seven architecs decides to create the Venezuelan society of Architecs (SVA spanish acronym) The founder architects were Rafael Bergamín (1891-1970), Luis Eduardo Chataing (1906-1971), Cipriano Domínguez (1904-1995), Enrique García Maldonado (1905-1990), Heriberto González Méndez (1906-1992), Roberto Henríquez (1905-1990) y Carlos Raúl Villanueva (1900-1975). They established  four important points to give a impulse to the Venezuelan architechture, one of those, and the most important was: To improve the study and development of the architecture on the country. On 1966 the society was turn into the School of Architechs of Venezuela and as a tribute to those seven architecs this day was chosen as the national day of architecture on Venezuela.

   Sense that day on Venezuela is celebrated the National Architect day on the 4th of July. Because of this celebration in the country do several activities in name of the celebration; as art exhibitions, gatherings on architecture schools of the country, design contests and more.
